Many sex educators, myself included, have found themselves unable to promote their workshops and offerings on Facebook’s advertising platform because Facebook deems it to be explicit. In this Facebook Live session, we talk about the environment of censorship and repression that surrounds sexuality–the source of so much pain for many people and something we fight against. Adult sex education normalizes human sexuality as something natural, normal and part of life that worthy of discussion and thoughtful analysis. When sexuality is kept in the dark, hidden and censored, it creates more shame, more harm and more oppression. I stand for the opposite of that, for true sexual empowerment that goes FAR beyond the glossy surface-level commodified version of sexuality that gets sold back to us.
Why Facebook Censors Sex Educators
Hi, I’m A’magine
I’ve been a Sexual Empowerment Educator
[&] Coach for over 25 years
I’ve helped thousands of people improve their lives, boost their confidence, learn the art of asking for what they want, step into their power, learn to radically love their bodies, show up as emotionally powerful in their relationships, rock-star their mid-life with the best sex ever, and put in perspective and practice the very real and important role sexuality was meant to play in their lives
