I will not lay down. I will not be resigned that “it’s just gonna be like it always is. Nothing will change.”
Someone actually posted a comment to that effect this week on a post about the phone banking I have been doing.
How do you think the world changes? By resignation? By wishing? By trusting God will do it for you?
No. It changes because people like you and me decide it’s going to change, and we take empowered, committed action to create the world we want.
And if you believe in God, you can believe she is at your back all the way down the line.
How do you think your relationships change? Are they different?
Nope. They change because you change. You be what you want to have, and you create it.
Here’s the equation: BE + DO = HAVE
If your relationships are not what you want them to be, you get to be what is missing.
If you are not who you want to be, you get to identify what you really want and shift your whole BEing to align with that.
If the world is not what you want, then you get to work to create what you do want.
If you choose to resign, to lay down, to stand on the sidelines and watch while you do nothing, you get to say exactly NOTHING about the results when you don’t like them.
It takes all of us.
We each have a different contribution to make. We carry archetypal energies that are potent ways of BEing and within those energies lie our greatest gifts.
Caroline Myss has written a lot about archetypes and believes we each have 12 key archetypes that we carry, and that four of those are universal—we all have them. The other eight are our own archetypal blueprint.
The four that are universal: The Child, The Victim, The Saboteur, The Prostitute.
People don’t always like to hear the last one because we have a lot of ideas and stereotypes about what that means.
What it means we get to look at is what is our price?
We all have a price. We all have a limit. We all have a place where we will sell. Ourselves, our souls, our services, our time, our skills.
What is your price? To whom are you willing to sell out for the right price?
In our sexuality, we also carry our own set of archetypes and our culture is steaming with sexual archetypes for women that give us all kinds of messages about who and what we are supposed to be as sexual beings.
In my Sexual Archetype Ritual we dial those archetypes in by calling in live priestesses to come and embody the archetypes so that we can examine them in ourselves, see what we relate to, what we are repelled by, and what we want to develop more of in ourselves.
Over the years, I have added an archetype here, dropped another there. It’s hard to limit us to the coven of sexual archetypes we currently explore. (And they will change again because I am changing, my clients are developing, and our world is evolving.)
